I was born and raised in Tennessee, but I never developed much of an accent. I gained an interest in mental health while working with at-risk teens and young adults as a behavioral health technician in my early twenties. This inspired me to change my education goals and pursue a degree in psychology. While completing my bachelors degree, I volunteered with the Utah County Crisis line and at the Utah state mental hospital. After earning my bachelor’s degree in psychology, I moved to Arizona to continue my postgraduate education. I studied at Midwestern University where I earned my Masters in Medical Science to become a physician assistant. I have worked with and trained under Dr. Burstein since 2016. Under his mentorship, I have fine tuned my skills as a psychiatric medical provider.
I evaluate, diagnose, and treat individuals to help them understand and address their mental health challenges. I primarily provide medication management services but will include some brief talk therapy in our visits. I strive to facilitate a safe environment where you will feel heard and understood. I will try to customize your treatment plan with your input and your specific needs in mind. I hope to be able to work with you to help you improve your quality of life!
In my free time, I love to hike, cook with my wife, and play with our young sons.
